Overview
UCLA is a massive public university in which you can get easily lost, especially if you have never been to campus before. To ensure that you find Janss Terrace as smoothly as possible, we suggest that you follow the directions below step-by-step. The directions are broken into two parts: (1) directions to Parking Lot 8 at UCLA, and (2) directions from Parking Lot 8 to Janss Terrace.
Regarding the directions from Parking Lot 8 to Janss Terrace, we have attached a campus map with the walking path that we are instructing you to take marked and highlighted. Additionally, at the bottom of this page, we have attached various photos of the landmarks that you should pass on the path. Please use these resources to guide you through campus.
Directions to UCLA

Begin by typing UCLA - Parking Structure 8 into your GPS.

Follow the GPS' directions until you arrive at the parking structure.

Drive to the top level of the parking structure, then park. Locate the parking meter, then pay for parking using your license plate number. The cost to park at the university for the day is $14.00.

Directions from Parking Structure 8 to Janss Terrace

Once you have paid for parking, take the staircase by the parking meter down one level.

After you have walked down the staircase, walk onto campus. You will see a long walkway located between Spaulding Field on your left and the Luskin Conference Center on your right. Take the walkway.

At the end of the walkway, you will arrive at Pauley Pavilion - a venue that Rod visited countless times throughout his life to watch the UCLA Bruins play basketball. Make a right.

As you are heading right, you should pass by the James West Alumni Center.

After you walk past the Alumni Center, you will arrive in front of a large building named Ackerman Union. Make a left.

You will soon approach the John Wooden Center and Ashe Center. If you turn to your right, you should see a tall hill called Bruin Walk East with various sitting tables on either side of it. Begin walking up the hill.

Keep walking up the hill until you see Moore Hall on your right.

Once you see Moore Hall, make a left on any nearby path, continuing to head up the hill.

As long as you head up the hill, any one of the nearby paths will eventually lead to you to the side of Powell Library. Just beyond Powell Library, you will arrive at Janss Terrace - the venue for The Barkman's Bash.
