Dear family, friends, and other loved ones,

On the afternoon of Monday, December 27th, our beloved Rodney (more affectionately known as "Rod") passed away from this earth, beginning his journey back to the place from which he came.
To honor Rod's extraordinary life and the beautiful mark that he left on this world, a celebration of Rod's life will be held at the University of California, Los Angeles - his alma mater - on January 29, 2022. The event will take place from 4-8pm on Janss Terrace, located between Royce Hall and Powell Library.

This website contains all of the information that you and yours need to prepare for attending Rod's celebration of life, which we have named "The Barkman's Bash". Rod loved nicknames, witty sayings, and euphemisms, and he would want all of us to refer to and remember this event by a fun, joyful title.

As you navigate the pages of this website, we ask that you pay careful attention to the information listed on the "COVID-19 Policy" page. There will be a variety of measures in place during the event to ensure the health and safety of attendees, and failure to comply with any or all of these measures will result in your inability to attend the event.

Rod was a remarkable person whom we were all so very lucky to know and love. His passing brings us deep sadness, but he leaves us with an abundance of wonderful memories to hold onto and cherish until we see him again. We look forward to celebrating and remembering him with all of you soon.
